flags are temporary, humanity lasts as long as earth does

empire has but limited lifespan to falter,
from promising rise to its eventual crumble,
& star spangled republics are no exception.
though patriotism force fed from early infancy,
appears to keep us locked within doomed infantry;
matching further from humanity & true social order,
so that we are blinded by trappings of fictitious state,
& pledged to banners which shall not ever wave eternal.

    Sometimes I do think that we are born to fail in this life just the way the world is made up and the way that people think about others if you are this type of person you can only do this if you are from this class you can go here but if not you are stuck in a hole that can be hard to get out of so argh thanks for entering be well

    I love governmental poems when they mock the system .. I do it quite a few times myself. But you know, this is amazing. It had a certain beat to it when I read it and is exceptional. Really good
