Light in your eyes

The way that your eyes light with laughter
And they way you don’t worry about trouble until after
The care free nature that comes with you
And the silly little things that you often do

The times when trouble is written on your face
And you live your life just so fast paced
The love that you have for your kids and mine
And your attitude now is just so fine

The touch of your fingers against my skin
Knowing that this means that the fun begins
Sensations abound from your every touch
We started as friends now you mean so much

Two ladies together just shouldn’t have been
Is the first comment that comes, whenever we’re seen
The enjoyment we had when we started to play
And we still love it right to this day

Our friendship has grown as have our kids
I wouldn’t change a thing for quids
