To Love One

To love one
more then the other.

The sensation that flows
through your body .

The sensation that streams
through your blood.

To see one
but not the other.

It takes you places
you thought you would never be.

You fly higher
You drive faster
You see farther

You feel as if that moment
will never pass you by.

Reality is placed
with a dream.

A dream that can not be fulfilled
only dreamt late at night

When the world is asleep
When the owls howl
and when the stars twinkle

While you wish upon each star
The star gazes down upon you
and twinkles a bit.

Like it's laughing at you
because dreams never come true.

Then you awake
the stars are gone
and the world wakes.

The bed is empty
In which you thought you filled
the night prior.

The aching feeling comes
rushing back..

So,
You close your eyes
dream of it
let it take you away.

But,
You can't go away
It can't take you away
It is all fake.



Because love is from within
Beauty is the eye of the beholder
and it doesn't control you.
