Vision Vapors

Vision.

That’s what it is...
Looking.
Peering,
Beholding,
until a glimpse
is finally ... Seeing.

Ether rendezvous,
two spirits collide.
Serendipity or destiny?
Those who know are sure,
because they must be ... sure.

Liquid being, seeks vessels.
Without tide pools, she
finds the serpentine path
to gravity’s core.

Torridity, seeks fuel and air,
but burns for the ineffably
quenching, sea-blue shiver
of that One embrace.

Blistering crimson ochers
find her azure chilling pools
if not to join, then
to touch, to feel... vision.

....

Eyes meet first.
Limpid ... irradiates
into smelting.
Fingers draw near,
and hesitate
at the synapses of
longing, knowledge,
and the passion
of unquenchable desire
harbored in
affective hearts ...
Were it pure
resplendent vision
it would be without
spectators and tentacles.

Two hands,
suspended,
spar magnetic forces
amidst the orbits.
There, an inch is infinity.
Coral flame and
indigo fountain
spiral effulgent light
at their untouched fingertips.
What it is... it is,
a gyre of aural vapors.

Were it but a moment,
then it is a moment... cherished.
Obeisance to unexplored possibilities
and to the vision vapors we allowed.

Thank you Ithica. You are Blue's frind. You are Cin's friend. If you let me, I am your friend. You capture some stopping moments. And that is all I ever ask of verse.

This has depths that are fluid; blending with
both flickering flame & evaporating moisture.
The title punctuates this and the verse does
not falter giving a consistent image to that
which is fleeting, visceral, and in constant
motion. What I feel from this is the depths of
instincts; the promise of meant to be's...
and the encroaching of reality's gauntlet.

    "Torridity, seeks fuel and air,
    but burns for the ineffably
    quenching, sea-blue shiver
    of that One embrace.

    Blistering crimson ochers
    find her azure chilling pools
    if not to join, then
    to touch, to feel... vision"
...these two stanzas create such a visual feast
for me as colours evolve into metaphor & feeling.
Thank-you so much for this treasure of imagination
    and concentrated philosophy. Blue

"...to that which is fleeting, visceral, and in constant motion....."

      Exactly.

Ahh those unexplored possibilities and those moments of connection that hold so much desire yet are often not fulfilled!!

I found this very arousing! The fire and water combination worked wonderfully for the exploration of such a moment....

I found this bit very poignant:

    "Ether rendezvous,
    two spirits collide.
    Serendipity or destiny?
    Those who know are sure,
because they must be ... sure."

Those who are sure it's either or those things, have to be sure.. otherwise, where is their reality of dreams.. made me think!! I'm not sure I believe in either... but I can see why some people must!

Wonderful write here that fills the senses... I've read it a few times now and it just keeps getting better!!
