Incense and candle flame

Incense smoke and bale-fires burning
In the cauldron herbs are churning
Soft chant and wailing cry
Song of raven, in the sky
Spell and Charm and hidden rite
Secret shadows of the night
Guidance of the God I need
to his loving words I heed
Goddess guides me through my days
In my soul her fire does blaze
Peace and love and sacred learning
Knowledge old, I am earning
Friends and family, folk and fiend
Fools and such, I have screened
To be pure, and know true love
Of the gods, who reside above

    Yes! I love this I thought it was going to be good! It grabbed me & held me close! "Spell and Charm and hidden rite Secret shadows of the night" I liked this part, it was telling a lot of what we do. My favorite part of the whole poem was: "To be pure, and know true love" That was awesome, we all want that! Good luck in the contest! ~~Iridessa~~
