Bare branches frozen,

Winter's blanket,

Chilling, almost haunting,

Captivating mimic,

Turning mockery,

Ice cold, goosebumps in drag,

Mesmerising,

a memory,

Ball gown maiden failing flower,

lone the last dance,

    I like the way you wrote this... It really captures that "fairy tale" atmosphere and sets the reader in the spotlight for these coming emotions... And the imagery is really good as well... captivating. Excellent, mom!
