You sit and you watch,
stars fall from grace,
who's in the spotlight,
and who's this weeks disgrace,
You like the ups,
but love the downs,
thinks smiles are OK,
but will pay for the frowns,
Yep, you love the gossip,
in the office, at work,
who lost it when,
and who's acted 'such a jerk',
You compare yourself,
and see through the eyes,
of those that hate you,
and don't care if you die,
You buy what they sell,
and live by what they say,
but you'll always be ugly,
if you see things their way,
You'll never look like them,
so you're full of anxiety,
and you have the nerve,
to call me,
a casualty of society?

loved this poem :] yes, everyone relishes it when a star has a frown on their face and a problem in their life. i don't even bother buying designer crap because it's not going to make you any better than you already are. clothes really don't make the man/woman ! lol
just like everyone else really, my favorite stanzas were the last two. rhyming and flow was great ! all in all, an mazing poem :]
