and white sails meet mistrals invading old ships,
when sun’s burning fire abandons its frame,
and soft pink of flower turns white flaring flame
I call your name.
You’ll find me in gardens, contented and free,
and dreaming beneath the magnolia tree
where butterflies sip yellow nectar and dew
and grass blades are covered with silvery hue
I think of you.
In rolling leaves' chalice, beyond eagle sight,
there, over horizons and bird’s streaking flight
where rain fades to whisper and rainbow’s aglow
the way of creation ago and ago
I love you so.

I like these images, there was a magnolia tree in another garden, long ago. When we appreciate beauty around us, we wish to share it with the ones we love. You have set the poem in lovely lilting verse, beautiful to envision and to hear. Good luck!

Thank you my dear Tara. When I read your poetry I have to sigh too. My imagery, you say... this is the reason why I must write. I can't keep all thin things hidden. Still, most of my poems will be published only in my books.
