A single flame
In a melting heart
I’ll hold it dear
Whilst we’re apart
This treasured beacon
Whilst you’re away
Will be my focus
As each day I pray
But when you return
I’ll blow out the flame
And my exuberance
I won’t contain
There’ll be such joy
As once more we kiss
And we’ll thank God
For our mutual bliss
Till then, this single flame
In a red melting heart
Shares my vigil
Whilst we’re apart

This poem reminds me of how much the little fella is missed. Great job dear Albert!
