Oh, Heavenly Father, please look down and see
all your hurt children, it is you they need
The children that you gave with so much love
From Heaven to Earth on the wings of a dove

You gave them to us to raise with morals and pride
not to be hurt, abused, tears shed while they cried
I ask you send them comfort, and take away their pain
help them handle the hidden guilt, and undying shame

May you protect them and comfort them with care
showing them that you truly, tenderly are there
Dear Heavenly Father, keep them all with your protection
Let them feel cleansed from the dirty imperfection

In their eyes, they are dirty filled with so much pain
reach down your loving hands to let them feel clean
take them in your loving arms with your love so kind
because you are an Awesome God with love so divine

Keeper of the stars, shine your light down on thee
let them see that in their life they can be set free
from the abuse, the guilt, the shame that they feel
because you are an Awesome God whose love is real
