There in the golden sun
lies the unknown ones
It has became a story
the blood in all glory
Men gunned down in a fight
buried in unmarked plots
they roam around in the night
scaring people on the spot
Some have heard of the men
wanting to see their spirit again
Some come to see if it's real
then run away with a little squeal
If your ever in town come and see
the good ole boys spirits run free
their unmarked graves is a sight
of the blood they shed that night

A very nice flow found within these lines and a genuine voice that echoed throughout. I enjoyed reading it and thank you for your entry...

Enjoyed your final stanza best... the ghost of men who lost their lives in a gun fight.
