in my dream
light beating at my eyes
trying to make me wake
and tear me from you-
I felt you again,
if only in my head,
I got to hold you
in my arms
and feel peace -
Not yet again,
and I
hope
and wish
that my sleep
carries me back
to your smile-
Waking makes me
sad,and I find that
with out your face
in the light of day
the dream keeps
calling
you to me,
to home.
