Connection

Connected to the Universe, above this earthly plane we sleep.

Disconnected  from the All only by our thoughts.

With each lifetime that we dream; the more awake we are.

Learning love and forgiveness for self and all we meet.

We break the cycle of life and death and suspend all space and tme.

For once awake, our souls will meld and continuous we become.

Forever bound in peace and harmony; endless love will spread

throughout and we are free to Be.

    A deep one

    I like the way your poem flows. I do feel however that like my other entrant, rather than penning something from your personal experience, you have merly stated a collection of other peoples ideas about cosmology.

    Even if your statements were true, the fact that you are not speaking from your own experience leaves me with nothing more than wondering which books you may have read.

    It would be more interesting to read about something you have experienced. Experience always carrys with it that vivid certainty that you were there and it happened to you. I wanted my contest to be about you!
