Life Before the Fruit

They traveled far and wide,
speaking of His word.
Then drank wine along the sea
watching the colors of life intertwine.

Dancing in perfect rhythm
to the tunes the wild did play.
Laughed and giggles wildly,
as they enjoyed the gifts displayed.

Their Creator blessed them
with so many things.
Happiness and bliss
and knowledge…purity.

They spoke of His word
and the people that He saved.
Chatted about what life could be
ten years down the road.

He was so fond of her,
enjoyed her brains and smile.
She thought he was the toughest
next to her Creator.

Daily they would draw straws,
on the mission for the day;
Of course their Master is the One,
who really laid it down.

They really had it going on
the blessings and the love;
Too bad for that damn fruit
which messed everything up.

Author notes

What did Adam and Eve do BEFORE
the fateful bite?

What did they talk about?

What did they think and feel?

Did they even like each other?
