Remember

their solitary life
proudly given

for you and me
would you have done the same?

Author notes

The military should never be forgotten for the duty they are called to do. Not too many have to give up their life in order to do their job. Please remember them and WHY they do what they do.

Fifteen words, impacting us with the question " Would you have done the same?" Rather than give a eulogy to our brave dead from wars...She throws the ball in our court, and asks if we would serve as they...Powerful!

    Thank You!!

Thank You for Your entry: Remember
This piece tugged hard at Spirit and while I was reading which I did several times~ after inhaling Your words I kept getting that the majority of people
would say noooooooooo~ but those who would not think twice about helping a fellow citizen let alone a stranger~ I am getting the phrase: are held with the utmost respect-
The trauma that coincides with death- and circumstances that surround how the person died can leave a lasting impression~ I keep getting reference to how some people put it in the back of their Mind...but it is still there
It can be so easy to forget the job they do~ what they are faced with for the images do not get sent for the public to see with clarity-
Censorship has blinded the eyes from the *reality* of War~ like the reality
    of suffering-starvation-genocide in other countries.
We actually don't see the *raw reality* of what happens in our own country
    Hopefully that makes sense
Powerful images You have brought forth

    These words grabbed and pulled~
would you have done the same?.
    Touching Voice spoken (Message)~

Thank You for sharing Your Heart also Spirit!
Best wishes to You in the contest Sweet Soul
    **Judging will be done shortly...
    Many blessings too
    and much love~ Desire~*~~*~

Thank you for the honorable mention. I wanted to write something in honor of all the soldiers or military to let them know they are remembered for giving us a piece of their life if not its entirety. May God bless America.

    Wonderful thoughts

such caring words for those that paid the ultimate cost, for others. Seldom will a person give his life for friends, but for unknown ones! it is a sacrifice of love for others. We do have freedoms that need to be appreciated and used wisely. Thank you for your words that touch my heart, and felt deeply. May your day be filled with good thoughts. Success in this contest.
