One Lone Soldier

Missing image

One lone soldier carried home;
all his medals couldn't save
the soldier, who died alone.

    Thank You!!

Thank You for Your entry: One Lone Soldier
This piece tugged hard at Spirit and while I was reading which I did several times~ I was being shown a Prisoner of War who was left behind in Vietnam- died while there but hearing word: Agony
the daily reminder of how Outsiders were shunned- mistreated and brutalized mentally, physically, spiritually also emotionally
I kept getting reference to a slow, painful death
like he was recognized for his Honor-Bravery- MIA however getting images of like his Life in the hands of the enemy- keep getting this feeling of why
nobody bothered to *liberate* the camps-
Now wild as it sounds hearing words: Jimmy Carter
Sadly I am being shown an urn~ like remains of Soldier but also remains (bones of others) ...I am getting word: forgotten
    Hopefully that makes sense
Powerful images You have brought forth

    These words grabbed and pulled~
    the soldier, who died alone.
    Touching Voice spoken (Message)~

Thank You for sharing Your Heart also Spirit!
Best wishes to You in the contest Sweet Soul
    **Judging will be done shortly...
    Many blessings too
    and much love~ Desire~*~~*~

A hauntingly sad write but a great point...people need to write about things like this more often..it should never be forgotten , even the death.

hope you do well in the contest
