In the darkest dawn

In the darkest dawn he creeps
Upon his bended knees
This creature never sleeps

Across the fields by night
He wanders till daybreaks
From his forehead shines a murky light

Never ending is his task
Pale by hand
In the night while shadow last

I n the darkest dawn
He counts his fortune
On his lawn

I don’t meam that they should squirm
Down here by the bay
Please sir would you buy my worms

This was overall a very nice write. The rhyming wasn't forced at all... so high-five for that! I also enjoyed the picture you painted with your words. The last line, though, isn't making sense to me. "Please sir would buy my worms." Maybe I'm just reading it wrong? But yeah, regardless, great write!
