Soldier We're With You

Sometimes doing lofty things seem to not quite pay.
But, surely there's a purpose and there's a future day.
Nothing in this world comes just upon a silver platter.
Lots of what we go through is a horse of a different matter.

Cascading tears or transmuted fears, sometimes flutter us,
but we still have to grope our way into the dark and trust.
That its not in vain and things won't forever last.
We must scrutinize our motives for where we are cast.

Perhaps this is our point in time to grow from anew.
Things sometimes come upon us from strange avenues.
We persevere, however, and see this thing straight through.
For after all what other option, what else can we possibly do?

So when we find ourselves uncomfortable for a spell or two.
This is not the time to complain, let's grow our soul's revenue.
Legally sometimes we have a 'leg' to stand upon, yes, but don't.
This is not how we'll rock this one, we'll handle it, or we won't.

Always know that beyond what any man can see, stands a God man.
He alone sees far into it all, and knows the road we command.
He won't allow upon us more than we can bear, He promised, he did.
And, in His hands we can linger and rest, forever in His love hid.

Past our understanding and our current realm of deals,
there's some reason and some kind of future or current thrills.
Like behind every good man is a good woman, well behind every good deed,
is, a good thing, some good thought, or other, yes, on this your soul feeds.

And, let it feed, ponder, wish, hope and much more; this is all good.
One would wonder if some feelings you didn't have is not as it should.
For bottom line, we're all human, and we have our own testing props,
but we should never let all this for us ever cause ourselves raw stops.

Noting that for us left behind, what we can't share in precision, well...
we can share in levels below the surface, and we feel you within this spell.
Our hearts are also hesitant and we want you back again, we feel, pray and pine,
for you are us, and we are you, what's mine is yours, and what's yours is mine.
