Yellow Brick Road

Dad,

 

You were the light in my tunnel of darkness.

You were the rainbow after a storm.

You were always such a hero to me.
Like the Yellow Brick Road,
You showed me the way.
Through right and wrong,

Without delay.

 

 

You were my Atticus Finch,

I'll miss you more and more with every inch-

I take in my life, that turns out to be success.
It used to be all stress,

But I realize now,

You would want me to live everyday as a great day.
And not look down on myself.

 

 

It's because of you.

I love you.

I did this off the top of my head. Keep that in mind. I love you Dad, Rest In Peace.

    This is so sweet, im sorry you lost your dad dads are everything Im sure wherever he is he is watching over you

    I think your poem is perfect just the way it is it came from your heart
