I remember your February glance
leaning inward
away from emotion
locked inside
when the rains fell from Heaven's veins.
Was that you're biggest mistake,
remaining dry and untouched ~
refusing to let life's tears
heighten your sense of self?
And now we both bend
too close to the dust...

A powerful write. Out of the box, but it still connects very well to the picture. Thank you for entering.

Lots of meaning in your February glance, locked inside (needed to break on through to the other side - sorry, I'm listening to the Doors right now!), and the mistake of remaining untouched by tears. Love the dust part - when everybody needs rain. OOps, just reread your title, perfect - makes the entry even more heart rendering.
You know you always get my vote!
