consuming that soul deluded in sorrow
that once burned a fierce solar flare
is an unyielding trial of second-hand
second-guesses
with no second chances:
though that ash still glows
deep and bright
into the in-dispatching night
and could turn to white hot flash again;
it's kinetic winding tempest love can overcome
this fronted hate
that blinds your eyes
and stifles your heartbeat resonate.
all could be made right with the softest touch
made impossible in these
desperate times of
distilled, concentrate, atrophy.
this hand will reach you soon.

Yes, the solution is often simply a touch to show you care. People can be saved that way. Very astute writing. ~ Joyce

Good =]
Very nice. I liked it. It was harsh with a subtle touch. It was like a fierce and swift, but soft, carress. I really liked this one, and it's a very good poem. Congratz, you made finalist =]
