Some Quiet thoughts

Missing image
Solitude,
flowing as waves,
across a rose tipped sky.

Gathering momentium,
as clouds drift in lazy luxury,
towards a moon clad night.

Noisy chatter silenced by
a cordial song of the nighingale,
he stands alone.

Just clear notes sung
in the evening dusk,
sharp and intune.

Broken silence,
stilled once more,
as intruder and song bird become one.

Wonderful imagery in this delightful poem. I like the use of birds in here. It reminds me of when I go outside and I'm mad for some reason. I here a song from a bird and my sorrows such drift away. You had me actually hearing those songs in my mind and made me at peace from my sad mood. Beautiful write.

    Very Peaceful

I think it is very important to tell you that I was in a funk all day, but after reading this and imagining the scene you painted, I really did calm down and I feel a great deal better. Thank you for writing such a great piece! I am quite tempted to print this out to keep forever!

    "Just clear notes sung
    in the evening dusk,
    sharp and intune."

    Simply Amazing.

I think it's really good! I love the imagery and its flow; sounds very natural.
    My favourite lines are:

"as clouds drift in lazy luxury,
    towards a moon clad night."

    nice

I like how it incorporates many aspects of nature to portray solitude, as if solitude isn't about being by yourself, but in nature and enjoying it's beauty, both visual and auditory. You've done very well, keep writing.

Yes indeed the relationship of the self with the surrounding has its own place while you depict the self and to relate the surrounding through it..your inside is lost but the outside is touched in it..the immagery is wonderfully depicted by the heart of the poet while describing the story of the solitude..the music of the heart is combined with the scenario of the nature..I love this wonderful piece..well done..

Ms Cutie, you don't write often enough (for me). You are always at your best when absorbed in nature. (Thank you.)
