Half full or half empty,
which way do you look
Northern or southern
the direction you took
Valuable or expensive
depends, who pays the cost
Over or finished
have you won,what's your loss
Questions we ponder
questions we ask
Asked to believe
given the task
Rewards in the riches
or in eternity
In life are you destine
What will be, will be
Or are you a free spirit
can you make the choice
Does your heart feel the tugging
can you hear his voice
In the wisp of the wind
while morning dews glisten
The answers are here
for those that will listen
which way do you look
Northern or southern
the direction you took
Valuable or expensive
depends, who pays the cost
Over or finished
have you won,what's your loss
Questions we ponder
questions we ask
Asked to believe
given the task
Rewards in the riches
or in eternity
In life are you destine
What will be, will be
Or are you a free spirit
can you make the choice
Does your heart feel the tugging
can you hear his voice
In the wisp of the wind
while morning dews glisten
The answers are here
for those that will listen
Author notes
God,Lord, messiah or what ever the name given, the belief in a greater power helps men to believe there is a plan. The more you believe in the plan, the harder you will work to achieve the goal. Faith is something we must define for ourselves before you can really lead others down the path, you must see a goal.I wish you all achieve your dreams! The Shaker

I see this poem as open to interpretation. Each might find support for his own view in the wording. It's a bit like 'choose whom you will serve' with 'follow your heart or intuition' and 'read what creation tells you' This, given the plethora of questions, challenges one to think for himself.
All in all, it's propounding a neutral position, which in effect says 'no one way is the right way'
"The answers are here
for those that will listen"
This is an interesting statement in light of it all.
Nice write. Thanks for entering.
