Thew tears ran down her cheek
As she stood infront of the kitchen drawer
Pulled it open and reached inside
She couldn't take it anymore
The tears ran down her cheek
Just like the blood ran down her arm
Why she had to she couldn't understand
She could feel the metal in her palm
The tears ran down her cheek
While she came acquainted to the cold, tiled floor
Her would was suddenly turned up-side down
She thought this was the right decision for sure
The tears ran down her cheek
Now that she could finally smile
This is her long awaited home
She knew it would all be worth while

Very nice job, I really liked it. It touches something, a chord deep down, that echoes with what I had been asking for. Good luck in the contest. I hope you do well =]
