There's so much to her
She could never look away
From the tears and past mistakes
Underneath the Maybeline
She is crying, for freedom
While the world revolves around her iris
She sits down and wipes the tears from her eyes
What you can't see from this view
may indeed puzzle you
What if you could see pain, through the lens of another's eye
How could we change their lives
if we knew they burdened so
To me, what it seems
Behind every lone eye is an even lonelier heart
