I did you wrong, my good friend
I forgot about you, moved on without you
I shouldn't have done that, sweet friend
I never should have let you go
Looking back, I was so young
Lost in the crowd, no where to go
But I learned so much and lost it all
When I forgot about you
Bittersweet moments where I hid
Avoiding those who didn't understand
Only you, my oldest friend,
Ever knew who I really was
But you're here, now,
And I can't let go
My dear, sweet friend don't leave me here
Don't leave me to let you be forgotten again
