The world was a cold stone
between warm palms
by caring and will resolved
a stormy day
and made of her life
a mirror to bend light and send
an echo of sight
that love also shines
like bright moon in darkness
and diamonds might grow weary
before enduring forgiveness
fades away;
and she watched with us
as faith became the mountain.

Reenie is such a gentle lady. Your poem is just as delicate as she is. The positive and loving message is a well a gift she really deserves. The two last lines are wonderful and wrap the poem with a shiny bow.
Simply lovely!
