but reproduction, via The Unreal
(nothing is said because it's private,
and not worthy of mans praise)
regarding notice. Signs, incompatible completely
when probation er's the Suit of 10; you get me?
(a case of 'Knowledge', if a Chesed'ept...)

They say you aren’t real
and I wonder sometimes~
how you feel about that
It seems that your work
which is put on display
does not say enough.
My weak designs
built faultily, gain praise
from the same ones
who don’t even notice yours
though passing by daily~
I could never
hope to compete.
I built the furniture,
you made the tree.
They say you aren’t real
preferring their own
creations to yours.
I don’t understand.

You're a clever writer! But lucky I had your explanations below to aid me. Bravo!

"clever" because I say so?!?
heehee
but thanks arafura; I appreciate you reading me

Interesting commentary here. I take it to be challenging the reality of "faith".
I think the suit of ten is... the commandments?
almost seen here as a deck of cards (suit).
"(a case of 'Knowledge', if a Chesed'ept...)" chess adept?
I think 'Knowledge' is used in a rather cynical way, as if to say one cannot know, but makes a game of pretending (maybe to himself) to know through his 'feelings'
I do find this poem a little cryptic, so I will revisit carefully before judging.
You have made your case here without bashing.
Thanks for entering. -

you're welcome; it's an interesting concept,
and interesting how you read it!
"Chesed'ept" means Chesed adept...from The Tree Of Life, and 'the suit of ten' comment is suggesting Malkuth Neophite (probabioner, opposite the One, Crowley's Tarot attributions as arranged in accordance with The Tree Of Life)
I think your interpretation's good, seeing as you've read it from a Christian perspective...as my perspective is cynical, but not without faith
just not a faith in knowledge by feeling; it's more a faith in knowledge using mathematics, and archetypal figures as symbols for an internal understanding of consciousness
I like understanding my feelings
that way, I'm less likely to externalize
-
-
As do I. I think that faith based on feelings or assumptions is a useless thing; one must understand himself and the nature of the object of his faith.
Evidence, both physical and historical and science based (not 'science' based on preconceived suppositions) are important. As in any brand of faith, the final answer is in choosing to believe.
"I like understanding my feelings that way, I'm less likely to externalize"
btw, I enjoyed the read quit a bit. It presents a good challenge to "blind faith" -
-
thanks! that's maybe because we're not blind, and perhaps regardless of our personal faith, we both know our insignificance

As I happen to be stoned for the first time in months, all I can say is... hey? huh.
?
Yeah?

-
-
yeah, it looks like a load of gobbledeegook if you read it on it's own; as it's a direct answer to the poem
I thought about embellishing it, but didn't want to end up preaching anything, so I just left it as a little puzzle
and good for you! I'm jealous!

word smith still at work, I can only tell you how much I appreciate your work so many times
