I put on a false smile so you won't see
the pain I hold so deep inside of me.
I smile away the tears
and shower away my fears.
I sew the pieces of my heart
when I'm alone in the dark.
Never will you see me cry
or notice as my soul dies
because I walk around with my false grin
and reveal my sorrow with this red pen.

this is really good stuff
a little short for my preference, but it holds the whole emotion needed, the emotion of a broken heart who still hides..
it's really a good piece .
