Letter

Sweet and gentle the years have been,
with your help along the way.
You've rose to the occasion countless times
when I needed a friend.
And just like the dove delievers hope to all,
you have been my shinning star, my smile.

Memories were honest and full of care,
for you somehow made me feel out of my skin.
Laughter in the halls as darkness covers in,
and screams through all the monsters and schemes.
Yet nothing compares, at all you see,
to the memories of just you, and I.

As we grew, so did our mature games,
of kiss and show, and sweet bliss.
Romance never seemed to shower so heavily,
and as time flew by, my feelings only arose.
You may have believed it was all innocent play,
but to me, it was all I lived for.

Now, my jealousy only flares,
for I can not stand to see you happy,
without me, without us, it kills me.
To me, we were one, like so many nights before.
I want that again, forever,
because my love will always be here.

My trust never breaks, and my hatred never grows.
But my deep sadden thoughts linger.
You are the only one that can save me,
from my life alone.
But, now I see I'll never have that,
so my story ends badly.

I do not mean to show contempt,
or to seem like a mindless fool.
But all I want is for you to show me love
everyday of our lives.
Its all I ask of you, because you are so good,
and I could not ask for more.
