This is really good, it makes one think.
Can't see what the 'dark' problem was, as it does point to a 'darkness' of possible failure, terrible in the face of true love.
For me, I saw the meaning of 'too much in love' to be making it your own to a degree of separation from your beloved, as opposed to being lost to your self in the oneness of union with them. The first line suggests this strongly to me.
Here I see you point a different way:
'I feel 'too much' is when you love someone else more than yourself.'
... yes this is indeed another way of separating from true union in love.
When union is reached between lovers and separations are drowned, surely so is all 'otherness' along with such problems of 'you, me, he, she and it.

...This does hold true, but in saying that, this wasn't really what I was looking for. It has a melancholic tone to it, but it's not really dark, as in gritty, macabre, gruesome... The savagery just wasn't there.
Unfortunately, I will have to DQ, but feel free to enter something else before the contest closes. Better luck next time.

Define too much... once you said, sky is the limit- I will cross that too.
And I say... there is always much more inside of the moon's circle, like in your poetry.
