There is a pain that lies within; so deep and buried there.
It clouds my eyes and blinds me from my love within.
It hurts my heart and head and my energy that surrounds.
The weight of guilt so heavy; I cannot take a step.
But I pretend that nothings wrong and give my biggest smile.
While all the time I'm sinking, I have no branch to reach.
Then one day my angel came and pulled me from my hole.
She taught me how to love myself and melt the pain within.
She taught me how to lose all guilt; it was not mine to claim.
She taught me how to bring the Light to cleanse my body and soul.
And as the Light surrounded me, I could no longer sink.
And as the Light grew within me, I knew that I could fly above my past; no longer to return.
I can rise above the path I walked and change my path with thought.
A lesson learned to change my life and learn how just to BE.
The past is gone; cannot return.
The future is mine to create.
My life is in this moment and it is my choice to choose to
really smile and let my love shine through.
For I am strong and I love me and forgiveness keeps me safe.
It shields me as a bright white armor that no negative can
penetrate.
I live with love each moment; for fear cannot find me there.
For love and fear cannot exist within the same time frame.
It is my choice to shine my Light and let my love shine through.
