Every goodbye

With every goodbye,
Your heart shatters
Into uncountable pieces

With every goodbye,
Memories tattooed in your heart
Turns into burning scars

With every goodbye,
Your smile slowly floats away
Into the mystique of darkness

But as time spreads its wings,
Burning scars get chilled,
Memories fade into silence
Sunlight seeps deep into your soul,
Bringing back your lost smile

Your heart learns to mend itself
And with every goodbye,
The bond holding the pieces
Of your fragile agonized heart
Becomes stronger and tighter

With every goodbye,
Comes a gleaming ray of hope
And a hand to pull you up
From the cracks of sorrow

With every goodbye,
You learn to become stronger

OMG this is an amazing write. I can completely agree withe this write. My favorite part is...

But as time spreads its wings,
    Burning scars get chilled,
    Memories fade into silence
Sunlight seeps deep into your soul,
    Bringing back your lost smile

Your heart learns to mend itself
    And with every goodbye,
    The bond holding the pieces
    Of your fragile agonized heart
    Becomes stronger and tighter

    Once again, great write

    I like this a lot :]
I like how you were able to express your ideas, especially how you begin the first three verses with "with every goodbye" & then change then go back. Good write!

For a 15 year old, you seem to have experienced a lot in life and love. Very wise words from someone as young as you. Another excellent write.

    Two sides of a coin.

Hello leads to good-bye, which leads to hello again.

And the cycle is never complete.

I love how this poem shows that in the beginning, things will hurt. You will feel sorrow and great loss but soon after given time, you will begin to heal. You will begin to grow stronger and recover from it all. Recover from the loss, pain, sorrow and just be you again.

    Wonderful write ^_^

i've had way too many goodbyes...with the same person. it's killed us over and over again

    With every goodbye,
    Your heart shatters
    Into uncountable pieces

and yet we've found that (most of) the memories arent horrible; the smiles don't fade. we care about each other so much, that we're just waiting for the day when we can be friends. it's not possible right now...but one day it'll happen

it's a beautiful write...i really enjoy reading your work!!

    With every goodbye,
    You learn to become stronger

I probably say this alot but thats 'cause alot of people here have potential that they dont know how to use,
but you have potential, you just need to learn well alot more about writing - not to say I don't, but you should atleast really stop with the capital letter on every new line, and spellcheck the stuff

I love the last sentence because it's really true. We have to admit, even the strongest people hate goodbyes. Love it! Keep sharing your great work with us.

    ooo

I love this poem and how i gives hope despite the sadness. I felt myself agreeing to every line. As the poem progressess, the negaiveness gets changed into all the positives from a goodbye. lovely!

    "Memories tattooed in your heart
    Turns into burning scars"

this is what would happen when tatoos are taken out so I felt this are awesome lines. I have found this place and your expressions are truly beautiful. This is a winner in my eyes. good luck!

    loveees,
    transit~

    This is really beautiful...x

The end line was perfect, it completed the whole write on such a lovely note.

The repetitions tugged at my heartstrings. A goodbye can bring you so much pain but heal you at the same time.

    Brilliant
