dawn crests
over an orchard
blessed,
where behind
white linen veils,
are secret lovers
pressed-
against the bosoms
of these ladies
of the morning...

I like the blessed orchard, white linen veils and pressed bosoms and ladies of the morning instead of night!

What I liked about this poem is the many interpretations it allows the reader.... "secret lovers" - can be read as two people or as the trees being the sun's lovers. Lovely play on words here and something very mysterious about the poem too. I liked the softness of this piece too. Thank you so much for your entry.
