For Thanksgiving.
Scientists scramble to
find a counter tactic
against this abominable
fiend. This Holiday show off.
Can nothing save us?
A cross eyed boy somewhere
in Nebraska on a cold after
noon in November (Upon receiving
orders from his father to
murder his trusty pet turkey)
decides to hide it up the
farm cow's butt. In the morning,
his sister goes out to milk the
cow, but instead returns with a
pail of gravy, and a madness in her
eyes. Repeating the word "Turkeef"
"Turkeef!" "TURKEEF!" "TURKEEEEF!".
Mean while, in outer space, an
alien space craft orbits around
the earth. Deep in the shiny craft
a small group of little grey alien
scientists stare at the X rays
of a cow/turkey creature mid
mutation with wings and a large
predatory beak and second stomach.
"You know what Chipinka?" says the
alien smoking with glasses to the alien
dancing in the overalls. "This is going to
take the super out of the gorping (fricking)
Super bowl. I think we should keep a close
eye on the inner planetary stock markets."

No wait, I gotta stop laughing. I started at the gravy line, and can't seem to stop this laugh. Your imagination is a true gem. I would never have been able to come up with Spuna, much less Turkeef. If i stand on my tippy toes i can almost see the super bowl commercials lining up promoting the two, Spuna and Turkeef. A truly original idea for a poem that is engaging and entertaining. Blessings and best wishes, richard
