Last night was a blast.
I couldn't remember the last time i had so much fun.
I met a new guy that shared alot of the same views and tastes in life.
I had to deal with a break up drama that wasn't mine.
I wouldn't change last night for the world.
I got my deploma at Project Graduation,
and smiled as they handed it to me.
I know now that this is just the begining of things,
where i go from here is completely up to me and no one else.
I walked across that stage,
went from a high school goth,
to a high school gothic graduate,
I know it means alot in my subculture.
The make up from graduation and project graduation,
its long sweated off and brushed away by hours of fun.
The hours that were so entertaining and innocent,
they forever remain a memory withing the minds of the class of 2008.
I know now i have to "grow up",
and oddly enough unlike most my age,
i'm not all that scared,
why i'm not afraid is a mystery to me.
I just know that i'm destined for a great life,
somewhere besides i am now.
College seems a must for me,
and hey it might not be so bad as most say.
The class of 2008,
our theme was Drama,
but it was NEVER dull to say the least.
I know in 10 years, we'll still talk about the pranks we pulled and the rumors.
All i know is that we'll spread out now,
all 460 or more of us.
no matter, i'm still going to be myself.
Its only a matter of time before things fall into place.
I'm Rogue Shadow,
A Sophstigoth,
A Riviethead,
and a poet bound to go wonderful places.
I AM APART OF MHS SENIOR CLASS OF 2008,
where being a dophlin - even if i don't want to admit it,
is apart of my lifestyle,
as weird as that may be.

On may 22, 2008 i became a high school graduate and apart of the "adult world". i know i have A LOT to learn buuuut well i know that i'm going to go places in the future.
but like any newly graduated high schooler... I HAVE TO FIND A JOB NOW!! lol XD wish me luck in my new chapter in my life.

this sounds like my class, but minus the laughing part and all that. i liked this. you seem to be quite sure of yourself inspite of the admission that you don't know yourself, but i think that you do because of the way this reads. excellent piece of writing that reads as if you were reading a speech or something.
