Beauty unaltered by time
whispering a symphony
of muted essence.
Succulent nourishment's
bread, red wine.
Feasting with my eyes
I inhale this poetic
glory; love stood still.
Caught for all, locked
within eternity.

... love stood still - and there they are, standing tall in the back, unwavering.
I love it that you found it in verse. Excellent. Best of luck in the judging. ~Pamela

Beautifully poetic and simple but worthy of any award. Good luck in the contest. Patricia

Nice take on the prompt a feast for the eyes that stirs the stomach of time...

Now this I love. I have often stared and wondered at paintings in art galleries. Imagining that the beauty caught therein would never falter. That time will never have control over those in a painting or even a photo.
Your piece is thought-provoking and brings many ideas to my mind. Hehehe. I love the way you describe in this. The imagery is just brought to life. Well done novy. I think this could be gold.
