God expelled Satan away
Out of the gates of heaven he went
In woe lament and bitter torment
• He and his troops
And curses on them fell in swoops
Of great envy and pride
He couldn’t be on God’s side
• God then had the garden of Eden
To never return back again
Striking him with thunderbolts to hell
Amongst lakes of flames to dwell
• When God he’s creations were complete
Satan still wanted to battle and compete
God gave birth our first mother and father
Away from reach so no evil can bother
• The garden of Eden had walls so high
That the birds of the sky couldn’t reach that high
And from way down earth to heaven
No power could climb or leaven
• But Satan full of fury and rage
Wanted to bust into the heavenly cage
To attempt retaliate and reply
Proving that he didn’t die
• Days he thought what to do
Finally with an evil scheme he came through
Adam and eve now were in eternal glory
He had a devilish design to alter it into misery
• The form of the serpent he took
Climbing up the fortress to steal a look
And somehow escaped the guarding angels at the towers
With his evil plans and wicked powers
• Crawling back down to Eden so sly
He had just the plan to make Adam and Eve sigh
Of the forbidden fruit he took and told
With foul words that it won’t make Eve cold
• Eat he said and you shall live and be omnipotent
You shall be invincible eternally potent
With those words he made Eve nibble of the lethal fruit
Bringing on mankind sins wicked suit
• Then Eve to Adam went to share
And this way to our heavenly joy came despair
Satan fulfilled his will of revenge
He finally did avenge
• But God felt sad and thought for away
To make humans regain joy and be gay
Jesus He sent so mankind’s sin would die
And to resurrect along His Son back to the sky

Paradise Lost Lost
So great to see Milton's inspiration still mojoing into the future! This, of course, is a far cry from the original, but I enjoy seeing Milton's spirit still moving new generations to delve into the paradoxical wonder of the Fall of Man and his redemption through Christ. Aloha. -
