writing poems

Writing poems is my hobby, my favorite thing to do
I get inspired and have to put my feelings on paper
Even as I sleep Im coming up with ideas for the next day
I get an idea and run to find a piece of paper and a pen to write down my words
When I put that pen to my paper, I let my thoughts take over
I dont write for others, I do it for myself
Raw emotion, pure inspiration
My mind races and heart beats fast from the excitement of my work
Its the only thing I feel confident that Im good at
Im proud of myself for my accomplishments
Pen and paper in my hands makes me feel complete, happy
When Im not writing Im still thinking about it
Writing poems is my life, my chance to express myself
Without this ability Id be incomplete
