With a wave of her hand
She gives me flight
With a wave of her hand
She turns day into night
She's in command
Of the wind, mountains and sea
She's in command
Defining the essence of me
I have no desire to escape
From her beguiling spell
Where can you find her
I'll never tell

This is a good write. I like the "short but sweet" type of poetry; and this one definitely fits that bill. I like that the title adds a dimension to the poem. It helps the reader to know what you are getting at. I love the repetition in the first two stanzas. It's done just right.

This is so beautiful! Love this poem so much! I can just imagine this, a young girl turning day into night. Great job!

I think if you or anybody found one as lovely that the secret must be kept as the love only grows. A write that made me smile
