Sermonizing

There once was a Vicar of Fosse
Who gave never a thought or a toss
To those whose faith wavered
In the face of his favoured
sermons full of dreary old dross.

You paint a very amusing picture with this piece, of a Mr. Collins-type vicar preaching verbosely to a sleeping congregation. I do enjoy limericks! Thanks so much for entering my contest!

I bet you can do an entire publication ...

    on limericks like this one!

Yes. Wry and also with that special QS touch.

    Love
    Myra

    fine funny limerick,

full of Brit syntax and special dry humor. Enjoyable read out loud.
