I’m all alone pieces missing forever from my heart
It seems only a minute in time that we’ve been apart
Yet the pain, the stress is more than I can bear
So I think of you soaring high without a worldly care
Walking streets paved with gold under a silver moon
Holding hands while dancing with angels to a lively tune
I didn’t want you to go because I didn't understand
Our life is predestined at birth already written down in Gods holy plan
Longevity, being together forever was just not meant for us
But with faith in God I have to believe, except,and trust
That in the end it was for the best
When God took you home to your well deserved rest
