I left you behind when I walked away
buried you deep and left you to stay
trying to keep my thoughts astray
from the pain and very far away
Don't come back to look at me
I left you behind with the agony
Walking away to try to be free
trying to burn bridges in between
I look out the window and stare
knowing you don't really care
not wanting the memory to stay
I pay my check and walk away

I like the final line, it brings the relationship to a definite end...I am this kind of person... when it's over...it's over! You have my applause!
