Never believing that God was the one who caused bad things to happen. He did allow them, however, so that I may grow and learn from them. All the while He was there the whole time. It's like that "Footprints" poem where there were 2 sets of prints when you and He are walking together, and one set when He is carrying you...
He still carries me.
