Forever a paddle wheel,
churning out different currents,
some soft,
some fierce,
time has riddle of its own,
leadening your heart
as you watch it tick by,
running faster than falling sand grains
as you grip it tight in fist.
Tune your feet
to its symphony,
for relishing
every moment
breathed into it.
