The Perilous Paper-thin Path

Tread cautiously on this fragile ground,
Lest you tear through and fall.
Keep on moving down those ruled lines,
And ne'er let your mental flow stall.
There is no prompt to keep you going
On this paper-thin road you stand.
So I'll say it again, tread cautiously
Or a steep price the judge'll demand.
The syntax you'll choose, the words that you'll make,
Results of which only you know.
Such is the perilous risk you must take
In the realm of "Anything Goes."

    haha

its a really good poem, i like it a lot especially the use of alliteration in the title.
I think that the rhyme you have used is very successful. a great poem to read.

    good luck in the contest,
    keep writing,

Oddly, it reminds me of standardized writing testing. Or writing the DBQ for the AP US History test *shudder*

And the worst thing is, my teacher only gave us take-home DBQs. We did one timed one in class. On the last day of the course. It was pretty bad. But a funny song was on the actual DBQ for the test.
