Put down the pen
It's not
Worth
The cryptic truths
You announce
To a world
That doesn't give a shit
About you
Put your security blanket down
And speak
Say something that means
Anything
You have opinions
Baby,
You used to want to
Save the world.
What happened to that girl?
Don't say she died
She didn't die
She Just ran.
Ran from
Potential
And
Love
Because hurt is
The only thing
She ever knew
The only thing
She ever blamed on
"You"
She didn't feel that her
Eccentric nature was worth
Explaining
So running
Was the only thing
That ever made sense
Even though
You can run and run
But baby
You can't run away from
Yourself.
You can't hide
Eventually
Your going to look
Into the mirror
And say
"How did I become this person?"
Put down the gun, baby
It's not
Worth
It
Author notes
Emotion is confusion, a feeling of being lost, and all the things i was feeling at the moment
