In my room
My small little room
I have a mirror on the wall
It is always covered
For I fear that when I look in the mirror
There will be nothing there at all
Sometimes I dare myself
To take a glance
Surely I must be insane
A mind gone astray
All that will be there waiting
Is my silly old reflection
But an absent fear resides within my bones
That if I look myself in the eyes
I will see something bad, something wrong
So I go another day afraid of my refelction
A coward, another day gone

This was such a heartwrenching poem,
The emotions in your words, creates this
really vivid image and fearing what you might see
within yourself when you look closely at your reflection.. I really enjoyed this poem..
Best of luck.

Oh my this is very sad indeed
Within the reflection in ones eyes are the true feelings of this hidden life for the little girl is so wanting out and the fear you hold back is her shout . The child within wants to play she wants to brings those smiles back today but you refuse her from a fear unknown you hold the key to the gates of the unknown .
