I have been accepted to be a foreign exchange student
but I am VERY poor.
I want to go to Ecuador
where the rain pours
all day long,
In the Andes
where it is
between 50-70 degrees
all year round.
It may seem depressing,
but this is my dream
and going would be a blessing.
Before I go,
I need to get my college plans lined up.
Don't know where to go, though
I want to major in education.
I long to teach English or Spanish
or even go into missions
maybe learn how to enjoy eating fish.
When I get to old to make sense
or grade papers,
I will retire
and do crosswords.
I despise the evil things now,
but maybe then,
they will be more like friends
but I'll probably quit and pray an "Amen."
