Tuning Forks

Life overflows
its vessel,
aura vibrates softly,
awareness’ tendrils fill
sphere

brushing others’ emanations,
sipping wisps of souls’ musk,
within tentative trembling proximity:

discordant clash,
innocuous blend,
a cherished few
resonating into a sparkling
blend of harmonics ~

joyous intertwining synchrony,
initiating impetus to stretch
beyond old margins,

reaching
Heavenward

Author notes

harmonic: marked by harmony; of a series of oscillations in which each oscillation has a frequency that is an integral multiple of the same basic frequency [Translation: the sounding of one will start sympathetic vibrations in those tuned to the same frequency]

30-50 words (49)
Prompt: "If your work of art is good, if it is true, it will find its echo... " Gustave Flaubert (1821-1880), French writer

    This write does carry vibrations...
    especially "brushing others’ emanations,
sipping wisps of souls’ musk" where musk
represents our natural selves bared to
breathe in and emanations the ripples of
being expelled from each to be inhaled
by the next. Wonderful to see gold here.

Wow, you are using some of my favorite words - example of echoing?
(vibrate, tendrils, emanations, wisps, proximity, resonating, harmonics, reaching.)
    Love it.
Thank you for entering this contest.
